The Ecosys4you project launched a full-fledged International Online-Mentoring programme for young students and entrepreneurs supported by IAT, RAPIV, DOBA, and AWARE 7. It aims to establish connections between European entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Mentoring is a special partnership based on commitment to the mentoring process, common goals and expectations, focus, mutual trust and respect. Mentoring can also encompass activities that allow for the transfer of knowledge and skills from mentor to mentee. Both the mentor and the mentee give and grow in the mentoring process. The mentee can learn valuable knowledge from the mentor's expertise, and past mistakes and competencies can be strengthened in specific areas. Mentees will have the opportunity to establish connections with higher-level experts. The success of mentoring will depend on clearly defined roles and expectations in addition to the participant's awareness of the benefits of participating in the mentoring program.


The Ecosys4you project designed and tested a cross‑border mentoring programme that brought together experts and founders from the Ruhr region (Germany), Varna (Bulgaria) and Slovenia. Over two six‑month pilots, 31 motivated mentees were paired with 20 industry‑seasoned mentors and together developed ideas across three key sectors: Production & Industry, Consumer & Service markets and Technology & Knowledge. The intensive mentorship resulted in 26 businesses receiving hands‑on guidance, 3 new companies launched, and even one patent filed, demonstrating that our international mentor network can turn concepts into market‑ready ventures and give the next generation of entrepreneurs the confidence to scale their ideas. Therefore, we are continuing after the project’s termination! Join us now!

For whom is the mentoring programme?

Mentees Mentors
  • Young students and/ or entrepreneurs,
  • aged 18 – 35 years,
  • with an interest in founding or running a business
  • with sufficient English skills.

Highly motivated, dedicated and experienced entrepreneurs, investors, innovators or senior managers (M/F) motivated to make a lasting impact on the role of young students and entrepreneurs across Europe. The expected skillset includes: 

  • 360Âş approach to leadership and personal development; 
  • Willingness to become a 'trusted' advisor; 
  • Empathy, integrity, credibility, diligence, independence and patience


Level of commitment

Mentees Mentors

We expect mentees to dedicate a minimum of 1 hour per month for work with the selected mentor.

The work can be organised flexibly; however, our experience shows that a mentoring spanned in  aperiod of 6 months brings the best results. 

We expect mentors to dedicate a minimum of 1 hour per month per mentee in a month.

The work can be organised flexibly; however, a 6-month programme ensures the maintaining of a close relationship with the mentees.
