The Internship Programme in Startups across Europe is a transnational matching and mobility mechanism developed within the Ecosys4you project. The programme connects students, graduates, startups, SMEs, and innovation-support organisations across European ecosystems, enabling practical learning experiences, talent exchange, and knowledge transfer.

The programme has established a framework for cross-border cooperation between the innovation ecosystems of Varna (Bulgaria), the Ruhr region (Germany), and Slovenia. It supports startups and SMEs in accessing international talent while providing students and graduates with hands-on experience in innovative business environments. During the three years Ecosys4you 8 interns were matched for internship in 8 startups. 

Following the completion of the Ecosys4you project, the programme will remain open on an ongoing basis, without fixed application deadlines or participation windows, ensuring ongoing accessibility and long-term exploitation across European innovation ecosystems. The internships will be funded by the Erasmus+ Programme - a proven, long-lasting instrument that ensures the mobility of talent across Europe.
